#okay but the parallels between louis and john lennon go way beyond them sharing a wild streak #john fed off of his bandmates #whenever he was around them he talked such a big game and acted invincible #but when the reporters caught him alone for one reason or the other #like to corner him and try to get a quote out of him about why he said they were bigger than jesus #he’d become so self-conscious and stutter over his words and retreat into himself #louis is so much like john #john always used to make a fool of himself and never took anything seriously (from his school days to being in the biggest band in the world) #for fear of taking something seriously and being /bad at it/ #so he was always a joker at the cost of being percieved as an underachiever #john was the leader and the funny one and the one with a complex family history and layers he tried to keep at bay #and everything revolved around him at times #everyone looked to john to stay afloat even when they all started to fall apart (X)
